The Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter is currently looking for those of you interested in the following positions on our board for July 2013-June 2014.
President Elect: This is a one year term position which involves working closely with the President to learn the role and responsibilities of the President. You will perform the duties of the office of President in the absence of the President. You will automatically take on the one year term of presidency the following year.
Two Education Committee Members: This role involves the development of educational programs for the chapter during the fiscal year. This involves working with the PR committee to increase visibility and outreach through the programs; identifying and obtaining speakers to meet the objectives created for the program; indentifying pharmeceutical and product sponsorship for programs in conjuction with the fundraising committee. This is a one year commitment, however you may remain on the committee for subsequent years if you choose (as many members have in the past). The main event the committee has worked on over the recent past years is the annual conference with Children's Hospital.
- Legislative Committee Member: In this role, you would sever as the liaison between the NAPNAP legislative chair and the chapter membership. You will evaluate proposed federal, state, and local legislation for it's implications on PNP practice and child health care and advise the Executive Board and chapter membership of its findings. You will help our members locate their legislators if they need your assistance. This is a one year commitment, however you may remain on the committee for subsequent years if you choose (as many members have in the past).

The new executive members will be invited and encouraged to attend our switch off dinner meeting on June 10th, 2013.
